The Urban Tree Database contains urban tree growth data collected from more than 14,000 trees representing 171 species in 17 cities across the United States. The files include the raw data (dbh and crown size, location, age), and a number of equations derived from these data (predictive equations for dbh based on age; predictive equations for tree height, crown diameter and height, and leaf area based on dbh; predictive equations for dbh based on crown diameter for use in remote sensing applications). Updated biomass equations and dry weight biomass density factors are provided to assist in volumetric calculations.
